Hurricane Isaias Recovery · Florida Panhandle

Storm Damage? We Stop the Water, Dry It Out & Fix the Roof.

Water damage mitigation, remediation and wind & hail roof repair for Panhandle homes after Hurricane Isaias. Licensed Florida contractor since 1996.

Florida Panhandle Storm Restoration: Mitigation, Remediation & Roofing

Hurricane Isaias brought hurricane-force wind, storm surge and heavy rain to the Florida Panhandle. Metro Builders has sent crews from Pensacola to Panama City to help homeowners stop the damage, dry out and rebuild. We've done this work for 30 years — including through Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024 — and every photo on this site is our own work.

Water that gets past a damaged roof doesn't stay in the attic. It soaks insulation, brings down ceilings and wicks up drywall. Our mitigation crews open the wet areas with clean, level flood cuts, remove saturated materials, and dry the framing with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers before anything is closed back up. Then our roofing crews fix the roof the right way.

How We Help After Hurricane Isaias

Mitigation You Can See

When water gets into walls, the fix is opening them up. We cut drywall cleanly above the wet line, remove wet insulation, expose the studs and dry the cavity — documented with photos and moisture readings every step. Clean flood cuts make for faster drying and a cleaner rebuild.

Wind & Hail Damaged Roofs

Hurricane wind lifts shingles and breaks their seal strips, creases the mat, tears tabs and strips ridges. Tile cracks and slips; metal panels lose fasteners. Some damage is obvious from the yard. Most of it isn't. We inspect every slope by hand and by drone, mark and photograph every hit and crease, and give you multiple written options on the first visit.

Free drone roof inspections. We'll measure your roof from outer space — satellite and drone measurements plus a hands-on inspection.

30 years, one company. Metro Builders has been licensed, insured and A+ rated with the BBB since 1996. We're not a pop-up storm crew; we stand behind our work after the storm trucks leave.

Mitigation and roofing under one roof. The company that dries out your walls is the same licensed contractor that fixes your roof and rebuilds your rooms.

Questions We Hear Most

Are you a licensed Florida contractor?

Yes. Metro Builders holds Florida Certified Roofing Contractor license CCC1336657 and Florida Certified Building Contractor license CBC1268975, both valid statewide, and has been in business since 1996.

How fast can you get to my home?

Our Panhandle crews are working seven days a week from Pensacola to Panama City during the Hurricane Isaias recovery. Most inspections are scheduled within a day or two, and active leaks get tarped as fast as we can reach you.

Do you do water damage mitigation and roofing?

Yes. We stop leaks, extract water, make clean flood cuts, dry the structure and rebuild — and we repair or replace the roof that let the water in.

Will you file my insurance claim?

No. We are a contractor, not a public adjuster, so we don't file claims, interpret policies or negotiate with insurers. We do document damage thoroughly with photos, drone imagery and moisture readings, and we perform the repairs. If your work may involve a claim, contact your insurance company to confirm coverage before signing.
